Sometimes customers will use it in extreme conditions like compacted clay and then use their full body weight on the lever till something gives and it isn't always the weed!  We usually just replace them under warranty (send us a photo) and advise the customer to water their 'lawn' the day before so that the soil particles can actually move this time. This is what causes the prongs to grab the root ball tightly. \u003cbr\u003e3. Slide the middle green handle away from you to eject the weed. \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eCustomers may ask if this is suitable to use in garden beds. Yes it can be if it is bare soil in the garden.
