It is a very tight fabric weave that allows air to pass through. This stops them sweating on the underside. Tarpaulins are designed to have a slope so that water will run off them. They cannot be used to store water as it will slowly drip through the fabric. Many customers coming back to buy more once they have seen how good the quality is. \u003cbr\u003eYou will have the advantage of customers being able to see and touch them in store which should lead to strong sales. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe canvas weave is made from 100% polyester which makes them lighter to carry than cotton canvas and also antimildew (another issue with cotton canvas is mould when they are packed up when still wet)\u003cbr\u003eWe usually dont mention the tarps are made of polyester because they look and feel like cotton and behave as such. But you may get some customers asking specifically what the canvas is made from. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ePotential Problems\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eFading in strong sunlight - this is an issue that happens with cloth tarps they we haven't been able to solve as yet and is most obvious when the tarp is left permanently out in the sun for weeks. Most customers will use their canvas tarps occasionally and keep it folded and stored inside so they wont have a fading issue. \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eEyelets being torn out. Sometimes customers get a bit too gung-ho with tieing their tarp down with ropes and they pull the eyelet away from the fabric. If this happens, just send us a photo and we will replace it for you. It doesn't happen very often. The eyelets are strength tested at the factory but occasionally the eyelet hasnt been pressed together enough and can fail. \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eNot fully waterproof - Canvas is a woven fabric that breathes which stops condensation forming on the underside of the tarp. They are designed to have water running off them. If the water pools on the surface for extended periods it will slowly drip through the fabric. Instruct customers to ensure there is a tent like slope on whatever they are covering. \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eRetail Packaging\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eCanvas Tarps are neatly folded and enclosed in a clear plastic bag with retail friendly full colour label on the front which clearly shows the sizing and colour.
